This role involves administering medications, assisting in diagnostic tests, documenting care, and supporting surgical procedures as needed. The nurse ensures compliance with safety protocols, medication handling, and clinical documentation standards. They participate in care planning, emergency response, and interdisciplinary communication. The role requires 100% travel to various locations to fulfill staffing needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver patient care and treatment plans under supervision of Charge NurseAdminister medications, perform EKGs, and assist with proceduresMaintain accurate documentation in SOAP format and review medical recordsRespond to emergencies and ensure safety and infection control protocolsTravel full-time to different healthcare facilities as staffing needs requireAdditional DetailsThis RN role is for our Wellpath WxSW Travel Team. Requirements include having a multi state license, be willing to get licensed in other states if needed, and be a current Wellpath employee in good standing OR an external candidate with at least one year recent corrections experience. Shifts are variable - depending on the needs of the site that week. Travel is on Wednesday, then working 12 hour shifts Thursday - Tuesday, return home on Wednesday with the next six days off.
