About the Role

The Associate General Counsel will also oversee outside counsel, manage litigation strategy, and work to establish governance frameworks that enhance legal processes. Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctor degree and an active license to practice law, with a minimum of 10 years of broad legal experience. The role demands a professional with a proven track record of working with executive leaders, strong communication, and strategic thinking skills. Experience in managing outside counsel, including strategy, deliverables, and invoice review, is essential. While not mandatory, prior experience in the insurance industry is considered a plus.
