Opportunity:

Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:

• Board certification required


• Coverage for Hematology/Oncology services


• 2 weeks per month consecutive assignments


• Preferred schedule 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday


• Occasional night and weekend call included in assignment


• 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient mix


• Target patient load average of 10-15 patients per day


• Call schedule currently 1:2 with very few calls, can be performed via phone


• 60-minute new patient consultations, 30-minute follow-up appointments


• ONCO EMR system utilized


• Weekly tumor board participation


• Fellowship training required


• ACLS and BLS certifications required


• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days


• NOT accepting IMLC

This comprehensive cancer care center features a 4-provider group including 1 physician and 3 APPs in an employed practice setting. The facility offers a collegial and supportive practice environment with extensive support staff including 13 RNs, navigators, pharmacists, and specialized support personnel. The program maintains prestigious accreditations including American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, and American College of Radiology Radiation Oncology Practice Accreditation. The center features onsite genetic counseling, a dedicated research department, tumor registry services, and shares physical space with radiation oncology for comprehensive cancer care coordination.
