Family Practice Physician (Board Certified/Board Eligible)

Location: Gatesville, NC / Elizabeth City, NC
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 35 hours per week (all-inclusive, including closing charting within 48 hours)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice Physician to join a well-established outpatient primary care practice in Gatesville or Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of clinical experience and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across all age groups

• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions

• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation, including chart closure within 48 hours

• Manage a daily patient panel of approximately 25-27 patients

• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure high-quality patient care and workflow efficiency

• Participate in quality assurance and productivity initiatives

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

• Minimum of 1+ year of clinical practice experience (preferred)

• Active or eligible for North Carolina medical license

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to high-quality patient care and documentation standards
