CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift. The core hours are 3:30pm to 12:00am. The hourly rate for this position is $28.27 + $1.00 shift differential per hour.Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:Eaton Aerospace Group is currently seeking CNC Machinists to join our 2nd shift team. This position is based in our Jackson, MS facility.The hourly rate for this position is $28.27 + $1.00 p/h shift differential per hour. The hours for this role are 3:30 pm - 12:00 am. Now offering a $2,500 SIGN ON BONUS.Rotate through each lean cell function and rotation through other lean cells.Perform visual and physical inspection of parts using functional measuring equipment.Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) know how to detect an out-of-control condition as well as other problem-solving methodologies to ensure quality of product.Interpret and work from complex drawings, blueprints, and specifications.Set up and operate distinct types of machines and finishing equipment (lathes, mills, drills; CNC & Manual, grinders, CNC grinders, laps, hones) without assistance and maintain proper tolerances.Be responsible for returning all tools to their proper location at the end of the shift and cleaning work area.Perform sub-assembly operations such as, installation of pins, plugs, inserts, bearings, miscellaneous components, etc.Qualifications:Basic (Required) Qualifications:Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Machining certificate or Associate's degree in a technical field, OR a minimum of two (2) years of experience in machining.CNC experience with lathes, mills, grinders, manual hone, or lap.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
