Job Title:Social Media SpecialistDepartment:Creative & DesignCountry:United States of AmericaState/Province:ArkansasCity:LowellFull/Part Time:Full timeJob Summary:Under routine supervision, this position is responsible for implementing and supporting social media campaigns on all major platforms adopted by the company to improve social presence, drive leads, and engage internal and external clients. This position will support our online reputation management to vast audiences by responding to employee and customer reviews.Job Description:Key Responsibilities:Follow content-marketing strategy to create, maintain, and publish content on a variety of social media platforms; comply to pre-set posting scheduleMonitor and respond to comments across social media platforms under guidance from senior team membersCover assigned company events to assemble social media contentMonitor and respond to online reviews on all platforms adopted by the company to vast audiences under guidance from senior team membersHelp represent and uphold the company's identity and voice across all social media channels and online review platforms to maintain relationships with user communitiesAssist with reporting on performance across social media platformsResearch industry trends; collect and compile articles and information from internal and external resources for use in marketing materialsResearch facts to ensure accuracy and eliminate errors and misstatements Review marketing materials to correct errors in grammar, spelling, usage, facts, and styleCollaborate with team members on content ideas and goalsDevelop creative concepts for social media initiatives that drive traffic, engagement, and leadsEnsure all materials are consistent with brand and style standards and written in a manner to advocate J.B. Hunt's service offeringsQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Associate's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field with at least 2 years of experience in marketing, social media management, content creation, or a related field, and/or military equivalent OR Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Business or related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Ability to work from a content calendar and meet deadlinesAbility to work in a team environment and collaborate on strategyKnowledge of various styles of writing (AP, APA, MLA, Web, etc.)Ability to process information with high levels of accuracyAbility to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediumsAbility to work both individually and as a teamKnowledge of Sprout SocialWillingness to travelThis position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.Compensation:Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
