School Transportation Driver

Locations: Oakland,Sacramento

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and compassionate School Transportation Drivers to provide safe and reliable transportation services for students. Drivers play a vital role in ensuring students arrive safely to and from school while maintaining a positive, supportive, and professional environment.

Responsibilities

Safely transport students to and from school, educational programs, and designated locations.
Assist students with boarding and exiting vehicles when needed.
Follow assigned routes and schedules.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle environment.
Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and transportation regulations.
Complete required documentation and reports accurately.
Report incidents, accidents, safety concerns, or vehicle maintenance issues promptly.
Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.

Qualifications

Valid California Class C Driver's License required.
Clean driving record required.
Ability to pass background checks and other required screenings.
Ability to report to work consistently and maintain reliable attendance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with students in a patient, respectful, and professional manner.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous school transportation or school bus driving experience.
Experience working with individuals
Commercial driving experience.
CDL license is a plus but not required.
Customer service experience.
