Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active and current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• State licensure—or eligibility for licensure—in Alabama
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver therapy tailored to student needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with district and legal requirements
• Offer consultation and training to school staff regarding speech and language disorders
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions
• Stay current on best practices and new research in speech-language pathology, applying learned techniques in the school setting
