Job Summary And Qualifications Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager,the Case Managerperforms the primary function of an RN in assessing, planning,implementingand evaluating the care of patients in thedepartment. What you will do in this role: You willutilizegoodproblem solvingabilities, making sure that problems are resolved, calling on other knowledgeablepartiesas necessary. You will evaluate collected data and prepare reports assessing accuracy, completeness, timeliness, progress, adverse trends andappropriate recommendationsor conclusions. You willmaintainconfidentiality by following hospital rules and reminding others when necessary. (HIPPA) You will activelyparticipatein continuous quality improvement activities by making suggestions for improvement and helping to makepositivechanges to include quality control, quality assurance,safetyand inspection control practices. You will activelyparticipatein the team spirit of the department, helping toaccomplishthe department mission, and lending a helping hand to other members of the team asappropriate.
