Job Title Sanitation PM shift - $21.18 Location Park Rapids, MN Job Requisition ID Req-260368 Time Type Full time Responsibilities Understand the functions of cleaning chemicals and tools used for sanitation purposes. Communicate effectively with supervisory staff regarding plant sanitation and safety procedures. Perform cleaning and sanitizing of the plant and equipment to assure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations and standards. Work in a safe and orderly manner while in the plant or on company property. Work 12‑hour shifts with varied starting times as mandated by the sanitation schedule. Climb stairs and ladders, push or pull equipment, and reach above shoulder height frequently. Lift up to 50lbs occasionally. Read and understand container labeling, written procedures, MSDS, and equipment instructions. Wear a wet suit and all required personal protective equipment. Use crank‑up ladders, electric man lifts, pressure washers, and hand tools as needed. Work in high and precarious areas of the plant using proper safety equipment on an occasional basis. Identify chemicals by color to properly read labels. Work in confined spaces or hazardous areas with approved protective and safety equipment. Explain and demonstrate the proper use of cleaning chemicals. Keep the work area clean and organized. Perform other duties as assigned. Work in varied temperatures and humidity. Qualifications High School diploma or GED and one to three months of training and/or related experience to satisfactorily perform the job. Language skills: read, comprehend, and interpret documents such as company rules, equipment instructions, container labels, MSDS, and procedure manuals. Communication skills: effective communication with coworkers and supervisory staff. Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide, and determine percentages and parts‑per‑million using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning ability: apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form. Problem‑solving: deal with problems involving equipment malfunctions or shortages. Pay Hourly rate: $21.18. Compensation may vary based on location, job duties, experience, and expertise.
