Registered Nurse – PCU, Atlanta, GA, United States
Travel - Temporary Assignment, Start 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks
Weekly pay: $2,361 – $2,435 per week | Guaranteed hours: 36 hours
Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts on a 2x3 schedule
Unit: IMCU within a hospital setting
This travel assignment is for an experienced PCU/IMCU RN to provide inpatient care on an intermediate care unit with a mix of acute and post-acute patients. ASAP start available.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adults on the PCU/IMCU, including assessment, planning, and evaluation of care
- Monitor vital signs, observe for clinical changes, and respond to evolving conditions (sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, CKD, encephalopathy)
- Administer medications and monitoring therapies, including heparin drips, according to physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, respiratory therapy, and other disciplines to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to standards of care

Requirements
- Active RN license (Georgia) or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMCU or acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced IMCU environment
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking
- Adaptability to a high-acuity, high-volume hospital setting
