This well‑regarded practice of 24 sub‑specialty trained physicians offers a highly collegial and supportive work environment. Highlights Performs inpatient rounding at Beverly Hospital First assists as needed for surgical add‑on cases Supports the physicians in the office by completing physical exams, obtaining medical histories, and documenting findings Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Interprets and integrates data to determine diagnosis and therapeutic plan Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long‑term medical needs of patients Provides monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits Administers medications and injections in compliance with state law and clinic guidelines Instructs patients/families regarding medications and treatments Educates patients regarding health and illness prevention, surgical procedures and expectations in perioperative period Actively supports patient safety program; adheres to applicable patient safety standards including NQF Safe Practices Triage patient telephone calls and provides consultation as necessary Conducts post‑operative evaluations Call responsibilities Performs necessary administrative duties consistent with role including EMR and billing inputs Identifies emergency situations and uses sound judgement in instituting established procedures to respond to emergencies in a calm and efficient manner Athenahealth EMR Four‑day work week offered – 7am to 5pm (4–10 hour shifts) On‑site ambulatory surgery center Office locations – Peabody, Beverly, Newburyport, Gloucester Generous compensation commensurate with experience and comprehensive benefit package offered (including 4 weeks PTO, 401k, and CME allowance) Qualifications Board Certified PA Massachusetts license Orthopedic experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply with an orthopedic rotation Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Equal‑Opportunity Employer We are an equal‑opportunity employer.
