Details Work in a 6-bed Labor & Delivery unit with one C-section OR Unit averages 100 deliveries monthly, working with both OBGYNs and midwives Manage laboring patients, circulate and assist in C-sections, and recover both labor and surgical patients Night shift schedule, 7:00pm-7:00am EOW (every other weekend) and EOH (every other holiday) required No on-call responsibilities Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active RN license (NC or compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), NRP, and NIHSS Minimum one year of nursing experience required 5 years of L&D experience highly preferred Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred Must be able to circulate for C-sections and triage for OB patients Point of care testing skills required Additional Information Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting Perform bedside point of care testing as required by the patient care plan Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including OBGYNs and midwives Assess and plan care in collaboration with patients and families, addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs American Traveler Job ID P-741852.
