Senior Traffic Engineer

If you want to work in a remarkable work culture where everyone treats one another with the highest level of respect and enjoys being part of one of the most progressive and friendly engineering firms in the Midwest, then we would love you to apply.WHAT YOU’LL DO…Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider a broad range of engineering solutions relating to traffic analysis, corridor studies and complex/non-complex traffic modeling.Responsible for discipline-specific planning, work distribution, leadership and adherence to the schedule, and budget on complex or traffic engineering projects.Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.Develops scope of work and level of effort and manages adherence to scope and budget during project delivery process.Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work within the technical discipline.Provides technical guidance and mentoring to team members to achieve overall project objectives on complex or unusual engineering projects.Coordinates technical aspects of the project with client and teaming partners.Assists with coordination and planning of schedules, hours, and distribution of work for other disciplines on multi-discipline projects on complex or unusual engineering projectsPerforms other duties as assigned by Traffic Group Manager.WHAT YOU NEED:5-8 years of transportation and/or traffic engineering experienceBS in Civil Engineering or related field of studyPE license expected, EIT requiredExperience with AutoCAD or MicroStation preferredWHY WORK WITH USAt HWC Engineering, our foundation is built upon a vibrant culture that celebrates diversity, collaboration, and innovation.
