What We Offer Schedule: Full Time Night Shift Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Location: New Hanover Regional Medical Center Day 1 medical, dental, and vision coverage Future Forward tuition support to help you grow your nursing career RN career advancement and professional development opportunities Flexible scheduling and paid time off to support work-life balance 6% retirement match plus mental health and wellbeing resources What You'll Do Build meaningful relationships with NICU patients and their families, serving as a trusted advocate and compassionate partner throughout their care journey Collaborate with neonatologists, physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized plans of care Deliver evidence-based nursing care that supports optimal patient outcomes while closely monitoring and evaluating each patient's progress Use clinical judgment and critical thinking to assess patient needs, coordinate care, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced neonatal environment Take ownership of patient care by ensuring safe, high-quality nursing practice while adhering to established policies, procedures, and professional standards What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. Experience:One year relevant experience, preferred.
