Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Facilitate patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while clearly communicating each step
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment responsibly, reporting any malfunctions promptly
• Carefully document procedures and maintain electronic medical records with precision
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and methodologies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related domain
• Preferably, completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
