Advanced Head & Neck Oncologic Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction Fellowship

Advanced Head & Neck Oncologic Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction Fellowship Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Otolaryngology, is seeking a fellow in Advanced Head & Neck Oncologic Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction. This is a one-year operative program with broad exposure, though two-year commitments are also considered based on the fellow's ambitions and research interests. Mission electives are strongly encouraged. The fellowship provides exposure to advanced head and neck ablative cases, microvascular reconstructions, TOLMS/TORS, endoscopic skull base surgery, open/craniofacial surgery, advanced trauma, and advanced skin cancer reconstructions. The fellow will also participate in thyroid/parathyroid surgeries, including minimally invasive, re-operative, and non-localizing disease cases. A blended ablative and reconstructive experience is crucial; the case mix is tailored to the fellow's preference. Fellows choose cases with limited mentor oversight, ensuring a fellow-directed, balanced experience. Clinical activities include intraoperative resident teaching and limited research. No call or clinic responsibilities exist. A California Medical License is required. Compensation & Benefits The compensation range for starting base compensation is $90,000 – $104,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to individual department compensation plans.
