PackerJoin our team as a Packer, where you'll work in a well-maintained facility and become part of a family-feel environment. We offer two shift options: 1st Shift from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with a 1-hour lunch break, and 2nd Shift from Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.ResponsibilitiesPackage finished products according to company specifications and customer requirements.Inspect products for defects, damage, or packaging discrepancies prior to shipment.Apply labels, lot numbers, expiration dates, and other required product information accurately.Assemble packaging materials, boxes, and shipping containers.Verify product counts and ensure packing documentation is complete and accurate.Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and quality guidelines.Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company policies.Report quality concerns, equipment issues, or inventory shortages to supervisors.Assist with inventory counts and material handling as needed.Support other production and warehouse activities as assigned.Essential SkillsAbility to read and write 60% English.6 months of manufacturing or production experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsPackaging or GMP experience is a plus.Why Work Here?Enjoy a supportive and friendly work environment with comprehensive benefits. A wedding ring is acceptable.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Prospect, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
