Store Associate Seasonal

Position Summary The Seasonal Retail Store Associate position is a limited‑time employment opportunity to support increased summer business and tourism through Labor Day. Seasonal Store Associates play an essential role within the CVS Health family, helping to provide a friendly and organized customer experience. Essential Functions Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues. Focus on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items when needed. Accurately perform cashier duties—handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures. Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager. Support opening and closing store activities when needed. Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational. Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities. Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Required Qualifications At least 16 years of age. Physical Requirements Remaining upright on your feet for sustained periods. Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and minimal force regularly to move objects. Visual acuity sufficient for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts or details. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting. Education High school diploma or equivalent. Anticipated Weekly Hours 20 Time Type Part time Pay Range $17.00 - $24.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate for all positions in this job grade. The actual offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
