Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Start Time: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM | Variable Schedule, Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in an operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a broad range of surgical service lines
• Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation throughout the perioperative process
• Adhere to variable scheduling requirements, including on-call obligations as assigned
• Float to other departments as needed per facility floating policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of operating room / surgical nursing experience
• Broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
• Proficiency with Cerner documentation system
• Ability to meet variable scheduling and on-call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-volume or Level II trauma center environment
• Familiarity with burn and trauma surgical protocols
