Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

The Speech Pathologist provides specialized evaluation and treatment services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders. This role involves developing individualized therapy plans and collaborating with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing functions through comprehensive assessments.
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement targeted therapy plans based on patient needs and diagnostic results.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on therapy exercises and strategies to enhance communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with licensing, certification, and hospital policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a Masters or Bachelors degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
  
  
• 
  Current license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Possess BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in speech therapy.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
