Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person, fostering a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are evidence-based and aligned with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN coordinates and provides direct patient care activities, including nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with care team members.
• Proficiency in computer systems and applications or ability to be trained.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous nursing experience.
• PACU, recovery, cardiac, telemetry, or ICU experience.

Required Education:

• ADN or ASN.

Preferred Education:

• BSN.
