Overview
A law firm seeks a Corporate Transactional Attorney in Lake Success, NY. The firm is expanding its team with an Associate Attorney who has 2-5 years of experience in Corporate Transactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs and commercial sales agreements.
- Evaluate vendor agreements and assist with mergers and acquisitions.
- Provide advice and negotiation support on contractual provisions and compliance.
- Assess and mitigate legal risks for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in Corporate Transactions.
- Licensed to practice law in New York.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and work independently.
- Experience in Transactional Law.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
Education
- Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in New York.
Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
