Aerospace Engineer

You will serve as a AEROSPACE ENGINEER in the RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT GROUP, WEAPONS & ENERGETICS DEPT, WEAPONS MS&A DIV, WEAPONS DISTRIBUTED SIMULATION BR of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band (DP-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer. Specialized experience is defined as the following:

1. Participating in weapon system test and evaluation (T&E) events utilizing Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tools or specialized simulation suites;
2. Operating within a Linux environment to configure, execute, or troubleshoot simulation runs or data reduction scripts;
3. Conducting quantitative data analysis of simulation runs to evaluate, characterize, or validate weapon system performance against established mission threads;
4. Preparing, drafting, or delivering technical reports, briefs, or analytical documentation to communicate test results to team members or stakeholders.
