Exciting Opportunity for a Hybrid PCU/MS Unit RN!

Job Description:


- Join our dynamic and innovative team in a Hybrid PCU/MS unit!
- Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00)
- Patient Ratios: 1:7 when working MS; exceptional care in a high-energy environment!


Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience
- Previous Charge Experience preferred
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Current AHA BLS certification (AHA ACLS and NIHSS preferred)
- Must pass Relias advanced EKG test within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- Must reside 100 miles from the facility


Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care with a focus on both PCU and MedSurg specialties
- Engage in nursing student support and clinical education to help prepare future nurses
- Participate in patient management, including BiPAP/CPAP, Central line care, blood product administration, and more


Unit Highlights:
- Daily Census: 17 patients across 19 beds
- Interdisciplinary support from IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and more
- Diverse patient diagnoses with opportunities for professional growth
- Flexible scheduling with rotating weekends, no call required!


Expectations:
- Must actively participate and engage in clinical education
- Additional shifts may be flexed based on hospital census without penalty
- Completion of orientation and compliance documents is necessary


Additional Information:
- General orientation starts on Sundays with online CBLs
- Expect 24 hours of non-billable orientation and online modules during your initial onboarding
