Schedule: The hours may vary depending on scheduling needs. We have 3 shifts, 7:30-4, 7:45-4:15 and 8-4:30.

Shift Days M-F

Location: Float between 2 locations: OHP, 1264 Howard Gap Rd, Hendersonville and 106 Henderson Crossing, Hendersonville

The role you'll contribute:

Responsible for performing radiology exams and documenting proper charges in one modalities.

The value you'll bring to the team:

Instructs and prepares patients for x-ray and/or other examinations.

Performs routine and special radiographic examinations and is cross-trained in at least one other modality.

Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns and extraneous radiation to patients.

Determines most suitable anatomical posture and positions and shields patients accordingly.

Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure- makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.

Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited 2-year Allied Health program required.

Registered in ARRT or specific modality required.

Current American Heart Association BLS Certification Required.
