Job Title: Registered Nurse – Oncology (ONS/ONCC)
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 4 Days Per Week (4x10 Hours) | 40 Hours Per Week

Pay Rate: $58 - $67/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Oncology for an exciting Travel or Local job in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct outpatient oncology nursing care.

• Administer chemotherapy and oncology medications safely.

• Perform IV insertion, injections, and infusion therapy.

• Monitor patients during and after chemotherapy treatments.

• Manage oncology treatment workflows using EPIC EMR.

• Educate patients on treatment plans, side effects, and medication management.

• Collaborate with oncologists and infusion center teams.

• Ensure compliance with oncology safety protocols and ONS standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse License.

• Minimum 2 years of Oncology nursing experience.

• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC).

• ONS/ONCC Certification required.

• Strong proficiency with EPIC EMR.

• Excellent IV insertion and medication administration skills.

• Strong knowledge of oncology medications and infusion protocols.

• First-time travelers accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient Oncology experience.

• Chemotherapy administration experience.

• Experience in infusion center settings.
