Diesel Fleet Manager

Overview Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation is seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead a team of 13 diesel technicians and oversee the maintenance of our motorcoaches, shuttle buses, vans, and specialty vehicles. Responsibilities Lead a team of 13 diesel technicians and oversee maintenance of motorcoaches, shuttle buses, vans, and specialty vehicles. Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and ensure shop productivity. Manage budgets, vendors, and fleet KPIs to support reliable service. Develop and mentor high-performing technician teams to achieve operational goals. Qualifications 7+ years of diesel fleet maintenance experience 5+ years in a fleet or shop leadership role Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, CHP, and CARB compliance Experience managing preventive maintenance, shop productivity, budgets, vendors, and fleet KPIs A proven ability to lead and develop high-performing technician teams Experience with motorcoaches, transit buses, Prevost, MCI, Van Hool, Ford Transit, or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles is highly valued This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact at one of Northern California’s premier transportation companies. #J-18808-Ljbffr Bauer's Intelligent Transportation
