Medical Assistant

Job Description Job Description Centerview Health in Toms River, NJ, is looking for Medical Assistants to become part of our team. We have openings for both full-time and part-time positions. While having certification as a medical assistant is a plus, we are willing to provide training for committed individuals who are not certified. Compensation: $16 hourly Responsibilities: * Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care * Prepare patients for examinations and procedures * Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature * Administer injections or medications as directed by the healthcare provider * Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine tests and blood draws * Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment * Schedule appointments and manage patient records * Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and follow-up care Qualifications: Requirements : * High school diploma or equivalent * Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment * Attention to detail and strong organizational skills * Positive work attitude Nice to Have: * Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems * Completion of a medical assistant training program * Certification as a medical assistant is preferred About Company Centerview Health is an innovative, physician-led, and physician-centered medical group focused on helping physicians do what they do best: care for patients.
