Clinical Pharmacist - LTACH - $65-80/hr - 13 Weeks Specialty Medical Staffing is currently hiring a Clinical Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment at a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) in Flint, Michigan. This full-time opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule and the chance to provide both clinical and operational pharmacy services in a collaborative hospital setting. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week) Duration: 13 weeks Compensation: $65-$80/hour Responsibilities include: Verify and dispense medication orders Complete medication reconciliation and discharge medication reviews Counsel patients and families on discharge medications Obtain and verify prior-to-admission medication histories Monitor medication therapy for safety, efficacy, and appropriate dosing Provide antimicrobial stewardship recommendations Manage pharmacokinetic and anticoagulation dosing Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Support inventory management, controlled substance accountability, and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications: Active Michigan Pharmacist license required Recent hospital pharmacy experience preferred EPIC experience strongly preferred Experience with antimicrobial stewardship, pharmacokinetic dosing, and anticoagulation management preferred Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Facility Details: Long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) EPIC electronic medical record Collaborative clinical pharmacy environment Specialty Medical Staffing, LLC and all affiliated entities are proud to practice Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action (EEO/AA) #J-18808-Ljbffr
