Work Environment\n

This is a remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while engaging deeply with your clients through virtual sessions. Although you will primarily operate in a virtual capacity, occasional in-person meetings may be scheduled to collaborate with interdisciplinary team members. Our outpatient office approach emphasizes a client-centered care model, prioritizing accessibility and convenience for those we serve.

  • Conduct ongoing assessments tailored to the needs of diverse patients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their mental health requirements.

  • Facilitate effective communication between supervisors, clients, family members, and caregivers to track and report on clients’ progress.

  • Develop a tentative schedule outlining your client appointments, home visits, and observations to aid in tracking work effectiveness.

  • Coordinate necessary home visits which may include client interviews, data analysis, and chart reviews, ensuring compliance with program requirements.
  • \n
  • Oversee the effective implementation of clinical program plans, adjusting strategies as needed in response to client progress.
  • \n
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings (ITMs) and contribute insights from your clinical work to enhance collective decision-making.
  • \n
  • Complete and maintain monthly and quarterly progress notes, documenting the outcomes of therapeutic interventions and client feedback.
  • \n
  • Organize and facilitate training initiatives to ensure that all staff members are well-equipped to adhere to the program plan and related documentation requirements.
  • \n
  • Provide ongoing follow-up through interviews, home visits, and additional observations, ensuring continued support for clients’ evolving needs.
  • \n
  • Maintain detailed records that ensure confidentiality and easy access for authorized stakeholders, promoting transparency and accountability.
  • \n
  • Act as a liaison within the mental health community, actively seeking to provide essential support to development goals for individuals and families.

  • Assist in the creation and refinement of training materials aimed at improving the effectiveness of our programs for the benefit of our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a member of our counseling team, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults and youth, from various backgrounds. Your expert guidance will be crucial in addressing issues related to family dynamics, trauma, substance misuse, and other significant mental health concerns. By developing trust and rapport, you will assist clients in finding tailored, effective solutions to their unique challenges.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

  • Active, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California is essential.
  • \n
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is mandatory, demonstrating proficiency in mental health practices.
  • \n
  • A deep understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice is critical to this role.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish strong relationships with clients and their families.

  • History of successful collaboration within a healthcare team supporting comprehensive patient care.

  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies is a plus.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
