Summary:

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is looking for a caregiver for a client in Kent, CT. We are looking for someone who has prior experience working as a caregiver, has reliable transportation and is someone looking to work part-time hours. The anticipated schedule will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30am-12:30pm (hours have some level of flexibility). This is the perfect opportunity for a caregiver who is looking to pick up additional work or for someone who needs a flexible work schedule. Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Meal preparation and clean up

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
