The schedule is from Wednesday to Friday with 12-hour shifts. The unit has 23 beds and over 85 staff members. Patient ratios are 1:1. The equipment used includes an EMR system. The hiring profile emphasizes expertise in orthopedics, neuro/spine, robotics, plastics, and trauma. Common procedures performed in this unit include neuro/spine surgeries, orthopedic trauma, total joint revisions, and various robotic surgeries. The unit operates 24/7, and on-call shifts are required. The dress code requires ceil blue or royal blue scrubs for nurses. Candidates must be ready to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment.
