We are seeking to hire a manager level employee with 8+ years of experience interested in continuing to develop skills in all tax areas including compliance, planning, research, and advisory services. Our firm provides personalized accounting services to small and medium sized businesses. This person will wear multiple hats and will need to include a positive attitude, self learner, outstanding work ethic and an enthusiasm to take new tasks. The candidate must be patient, cheerful, self motivated, well organized and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines as a team player. Responsibilities will include:/ppstrongMain Responsibilities:/strong/pulliReview and sign tax returns/liliPrepare complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, nonprofits, partnerships and trusts/liliTax research experience/liliCommunicate with IRS, FTB, etc and other regulatory agencies/liliCompute quarterly estimates and other computations, including salary projections/liliCommunicate directly with clients/li/ulpstrongJob Requirements/strong/pulliCPA license active in California/liliProven experience managing tax accountants/liliAttention to detail and good judgment/liliExceptional Communication skills/liliProblem solving skills/liliOrganized/Good Time Management skills/liliWorking knowledge with QuickBooks/liliTeam Player and ability to work independently/liliWork overtime during both spring and fall busy seasons/liliProficient computer skills (Lacerte and other accounting software)/li/ul/div
