Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity, situated near Elgin, IL, involves serving K-12 students across early childhood assessment teams and elementary buildings, with a caseload that varies depending on school needs. Desired Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Assistive Technology credentials (IL AT Creds) required
• Background in special education teaching with practical knowledge of assistive technology solutions
• Previous experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and consultative services supporting K-12 students’ access to curriculum through assistive technology
• Complete assessments and develop action plans for technology integration based on student needs
• Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and outside providers to monitor student progress
• Participate in early childhood assessment teams and support multiple elementary school sites as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation and timely reporting per school and district guidelines
• Provide training and support to staff on effective use of assistive technology tools
