Full-time Internal Medicine Physician Assistant needed to join Dr. Widick and his established office-based practice at our Highlands Clinic. Hours are generally Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 7 am - 5:30 pm (or until all patients are seen). At least 1+ years of previous experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an outpatient primary care office is required. Job Duties Providing comprehensive primary healthcare to adult patients (18+), including ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests within the scope of practice Accurately performs a history and physical examinations Consults, co‑manages, and refers patients as appropriate Prescribes medications as delegated in protocol and procedures Completes necessary documentation promptly Writes orders for medications, treatments, tests & IV fluids consistent with the scope of practice of the APRN/PA and the overseeing Physician Providing an assessment of the patient's medical, physical & psychological status Documents examination results & records progress notes and provides continuity of care. Required Qualifications BLS certification is required. PA board certification is required. Active, unrestricted FL license (or the ability to obtain FL license) is required.
