Software Engineer - Avionics RF Design & Integration

Salary: $79,750 - 174,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong experience with DO-178C and the embedded software development lifecycle; DAL A experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in C/C++, build systems, and compiler configurations.
• Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, and configuration management tools.
• Familiarity with software certification and documentation environments.
• Experience with signal processing, FPGA interfacing through hardware registers, and RFIO.
• Experience with Python.
• Military avionics or surveillance systems experience is preferred.
• Exposure to flight test environments is preferred.

• Develop embedded avionics software in C++, focusing on RFIO.
• Perform software development in accordance with DO-178C.
• Create and manage requirements using DOORS.
• Support certification artifacts, including plans, requirements, and traceability.
• Conduct code reviews and builds, and manage software configuration.
• Support flight test integration, including interpreting aircraft wiring and data flows.
• Support software testing using Python.
