TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Lafayette, Indiana, 47905!

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts available) Experience: Minimum 3 years License: RN Certifications: ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: ACLS certification Comfortable performing conscious sedation under the direct supervision of a radiologist Description: The role involves working with patients requiring invasive radiology procedures. The RN will monitor patient vitals during invasive procedures. Experience in an interventional radiology or cath lab setting is preferred. Candidates with a background in emergency department or intensive care unit settings are encouraged to apply. A confident RN who thrives in a group setting with technologists and other RNs is ideal for this role. The unit consists of 225 beds with patient ratios of 1:1 for RN to patient. Equipment used includes Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ ultrasound machine. Electronic medical records are managed using a specific system. Scrubs are supplied by the facility, and light blue surgical scrubs are the standard attire. The role may include an on-call rotation with other RNs. Candidates should prepare for a computer-based training program prior to beginning clinical duties.
