Relationship Banker Shrewsbury, MA, US Opportunity Overview We have a unique opportunity to join our team as a full-time Relationship Banker based in our Shrewsbury Branch. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about customer service and building relationships with clients. Position Overview Responsible for all customer service duties including sales and relationship management, while reaching or exceeding established goals. Primary Accountabilities Continually exceed customer service expectations by offering excellent service, including greeting customers, using their name, and building rapport to generate loyalty. Serve as the single point of contact for all UniBank products and services. Process a variety of teller and platform transactions quickly with minimal or no errors according to established bank policies. Cross-sell products and services and make appropriate referrals to other staff members and departments to meet customer needs. Verify all transactions and confirm cash drawer accuracy at shift completion to ensure compliance with UniBank Standards of Performance Policy. Perform security functions by opening and closing bank and vault to ensure overall safety and security of bank grounds. Open new accounts, certificates of deposit, and other products; answer customer questions and provide account opening information, ensuring all paperwork is completed and entered into the computer system. Take consumer loan applications with a focus on cross-selling other bank products and services. Retain existing customers and develop new relationships. Implement all sales strategies, including new products and services, and participate in business development as directed by management. Proactively resolve customer complaints. Work in a team setting on various projects including employee contests, sales programs, etc. Adhere to established standards, policies, and procedures. Deliver strong community visibility. Participate in community and networking events. Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and corporate policies, with specific adherence to branch operations, security, and procedures. Travel may be required between branch locations to meet staffing needs. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Work Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred. Experience with cash handling, customer service, and sales required. Previous retail banking experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication, math, customer service, sales, PC, and operational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Salary and Compensation The estimated base hourly rate for this position ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, experience, and certifications. Other Information This position is not subject to SAFE Act registration requirements.
