This role offers the opportunity to represent the division both within the community and on a national level.Team Composition:Five board-certified pediatric neurologistsOne developmental behavioral pediatricianTwo full-time pediatric nurse practitioners (PNPs)Active programs in epilepsy (4-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit), neurodevelopmental disorders, sleep, and neuromuscular disordersJob Duties:Clinical Responsibilities: Provide outpatient care and participate in shared inpatient rotations with call responsibilities.Education: Engage in trainee education, including teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.Research: Participate in clinical research, with support available through the Clinical Research Center.Minimum Qualifications:Education: MD, DO, or MD/PhD degreeCertification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric NeurologyLicensure: Must possess or be eligible for a Texas medical licenseAppointment: Rank and academic appointment will be determined based on the candidates credentials and experienceThis role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to a collaborative division with well-established programs, robust educational activities, and research support.
