Shift Supervisor

Job Summary The Shift Supervisor will assist the General Manager/Assistant General Manager in leadership and supervision of store personnel, achieving key performance metrics and ensuring efficient daily operations. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional customer experience. Key Duties and Responsibilities Assume all duties of a key-holding supervisor related to opening and closing procedures and basic supervision of staff and retail processes. Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising. Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state-specific regulations. Review, communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPs and assure that any changes are communicated to employees. Provide coaching, training, and development to the team focused on company service standards and accountability to meet specific objectives. Monitor and maintain store inventory. Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations. Maintain professional working relationships with business partners. Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance. Perform other tasks assigned by management. Skills and Qualifications High School Diploma required. Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service, is a plus. Prior cash handling experience required. Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion. Ability to communicate in conversational English; operate electronic equipment (computer, scanner, printer, etc.), comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices. Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely. Additional Minimum Qualifications Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass an AMVR background check (delivery locations only). Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background check. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies. Must be able to relate to and work with patrons of different ages, abilities, and patrons that at times are experiencing emotional distress, or displaying a hostile attitude. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to: Constantly move/traverse throughout the facility, including tight spaces. Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, observe/inspect details at varying ranges, and operate computing devices. Frequently manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools, office machinery), push/pull objects up to 50 lbs.; lift/carry/position objects up to 50 lbs.; ascend/descend stool/ladder/steps; position self or objects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl). Maintain visual and auditory acuity with or without job aids. Occasionally remain in a seated position. Work Schedule Up to 40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs.
