Journeyman Mason

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Masonry Crew Member to join our restoration team. This position involves stucco, plaster, patching, brickwork, grouting, and restoration work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hardworking, and committed to delivering quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities Restore and install bricks, stones, terra cotta, and concrete according to project specifications Perform stucco, plaster, patching, and grouting work as required Mix and apply mortar using proper techniques Cut and shape masonry materials for precise fits Assemble and disassemble scaffolding safely Conduct finishing tasks such as smoothing surfaces and applying sealants Follow all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) Work collaboratively with teammates, contractors, and project managers Maintain tools and equipment for optimal performance Qualifications Fluent English required Spanish not required but preferred Work authorization required Previous experience in masonry, stucco, plaster, or restoration work preferred Ability to use masonry tools such as trowels, chisels, and saws Strong physical stamina—must be able to lift heavy materials, kneel, and stand for long periods Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship Understanding of OSHA safety standards preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Computer skills not required but preferred Management skills not required but preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Sunstall Inc.
