As a Strategy & Operations Associate Principal on Via’s Operations team, you’ll be responsible for managing operations using our innovative technology platform. You’ll manage a team of local field operators focused on daily operations, driving continuous operational and quality improvements, and growing our services. This is a fully in‑person position with the expectation that you will be onsite 4–5 days per week. There may be a need for early mornings or evenings. What You’ll Do Manage the daily onsite operations of our service to ensure safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for riders. Make informed, real‑time decisions about fleet, driver supply, compliance, rider needs, and unexpected issues. Manage the full employee life cycle for drivers—scheduling, PTO approvals, daily inquiries, performance conversations, and adherence to workplace policies. Manage driver work schedules to meet demand expectations by ensuring adequate vehicle availability. Act as the operational bridge between city partners, drivers, unions, community leaders, and local organizations. Use data and technology to understand service performance, diagnose problems, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and rider experience. Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, local and company policies, procedures and regulations on service operations. Lead, coach and develop an engaged team of drivers, fostering a collaborative, cohesive, and energetic environment. Who You Are Strategic leader with a minimum of 3+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Independent self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced environments and feels comfortable with a very high level of responsibility. Savvy and tactful communicator who intuitively finds the right tone in every situation. Detail‑oriented executor who is obsessively action‑oriented and thrives while operating autonomously. Exceptional leader who has extensive experience leading support teams and people love working with you. Flexible and adaptable, willing to adapt quickly and make things work on the fly. Problem solver who does not accept the status quo and always looks for creative solutions. Based in the Fort Worth area or willing to relocate. Compensation and Benefits Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills. Salary reflected does not include equity or variable pay, where applicable. Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000 per year. Comprehensive benefits package, including free medical plans and 401K matching.
