About the Role
The Company is in search of a Regional Vice President for Government Relations, a key leadership role focused on driving policy wins that enhance student learning and expand the company's business. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing state-level strategies, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and influencing educational policy to create a favorable environment for the company's offerings. This role requires a deep understanding of state-level sales, assessment, curriculum, and education policy, as well as the ability to work with senior leaders and external organizations to achieve business development and policy goals. Applicants for the Regional Vice President position should be passionate about improving student learning and have a proven track record in business development and/or policy accomplishments at the federal, state, or large district level. The role demands a strong drive to win, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage complex political situations. The ideal candidate will be an ongoing learner, results-oriented, and able to work independently with a high level of integrity and professionalism. Proficiency in various software applications is required, and the role may involve up to 50% overnight travel.
