Regional Sales Manager
General Truck Parts & Equipment
Location: South- (Southern & East TX, AR, LA)
Reports to: Senior Sales Manager
Department: Sales & Business Development
Position Summary:
We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to lead sales and business development for General Truck Parts & Equipment in this region. This individual will manage customer relationships, oversee territory performance, and drive growth across this region. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of our product offerings, a strong network in the region, and a history of exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
Travel:
Must live in or near a major city airport. This position requires 75-80% travel per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy to increase revenue and market share.
- Maintain and expand relationships with key customers including distributors and OEM dealers.
- Identify new business opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline across the region.
- Promote and sell a wide range of truck parts and equipment, including but not limited to engine components, drivetrain, and hydraulics.
- Regularly travel to customer sites, industry events, and trade shows to represent the company and support sales activities.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
- Prepare accurate forecasts, territory plans, and sales reports.
- Work cross-functionally with customer service, logistics, and product management teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide product training and sales support to customers and internal staff as needed.
