Key Responsibilities of the Polysomnographer

• Conduct sleep studies and calibrations for pulmonary and cardiology patients
• Utilize equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV machines
• Score and interpret sleep studies using NATUS and EPIC charting systems
• Facilitate patient comfort and safety during diagnostic procedures

Requirements of the Polysomnographer

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and Certified Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Proficient in using NATUS software and EPIC for documentation
