Event Security Supervisor

Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80920
Employment Type: Part-Time
Compensation: Up to $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday | 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Position Summary

Citadel Security USA is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services at a retail property in Colorado Springs. This position centers on maintaining a visible presence throughout the parking areas, supporting a safe shopping environment, and delivering professional service to customers, tenants, and employees.
The successful candidate enjoys working outdoors, remains attentive during extended patrols, and takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere while protecting people and property.

Key Responsibilities

Parking Lot Patrol

• Conduct routine foot patrols throughout parking lots and surrounding exterior areas
• Observe suspicious activity, unauthorized behavior, safety hazards, or property damage
• Help deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity through a visible security presence
• Inspect designated areas and report conditions requiring attention

Customer Service

• Provide courteous assistance to customers, tenants, and visitors
• Offer directions or general information when appropriate
• Maintain professional interactions while representing Citadel Security USA
• Support a positive and safe experience for everyone on the property

Incident Observation & Response

• Report on security concerns, accidents, or unusual activity promptly
• Responding to incidents in accordance with post orders and company procedures
• Notify supervisors of situations requiring additional assistance
• Assist emergency responders when requested

Reporting & Documentation

• Complete activity logs and incident reports accurately and on time
• Record patrol findings, observations, and actions taken during the shift
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and client representatives
• Follow all client instructions and company policies

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while remaining alert
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to prepare accurate written reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail security, customer service, hospitality, or loss prevention
• Experience conducting foot patrols in commercial environments
• Strong observation skills and sound decision-making abilities
• Familiarity with incident documentation and mobile reporting systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk for extended periods throughout each shift
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, and visual monitoring of assigned areas
