As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Incident Coordination in Bronx, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals at a public healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, public spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
