Bartender

Welcome to George & Gather, a new restaurant concept in downtown Chandler, serving delicious made from-scratch, organic and locally sourced dishes. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Join us in our beautifully restored mid-century building and be part of a team dedicated to using clean, organic ingredients while offering a nourishing and enjoyable dining experience.
Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Create a great rapport with guests in a friendly and personable approach
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Mix classic and innovative cocktails following drink specifications and recipes
• Communicate effectively with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide an exceptional guest experience
• Make knowledgeable drink and menu recommendations based on customer needs and preferences
• Keep the bar clean, stocked, and well-organized
• Check customers' IDs to ensure they meet the legal drinking age

Bartender Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume restaurant and/or craft cocktail bar
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, beers and wine
• Professional and positive disposition with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Title 4 State Liquor permit required
