Assistant General Manager

Job Summary Under the direction of the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager is responsible for attaining the sale and profit targets established for Buona Restaurant and Buona Catering retail. Salary Range $55,000 - $65,000 annually Responsibilities Achieve sales targets Recognize all revenue areas & development strategies to impact sales Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materials Manage and control direct expenses Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees Conduct quarterly reviews Adhere to established training programs Determine advancement/termination Develop employees into shift managers Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success Embrace our balanced corporate structure and strong, family-culture Enforce policies, procedures, and controls Qualifications and Skills Minimum of 5 years in a AGM role (QSR preferred) Drive-thru and Catering experience preferred Familiar with and comfortable leading 10+ team members per shift Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting Strong knowledge of commonly used restaurant practices, concepts, and procedures Strong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to lead 10+ team members per shift Ability to work with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance Flexible Spending Account 401(k) with 4% Employer Match Quarterly and periodic bonuses Work/Life Balance + PTO Referral Programs ($1500 per referred manager) Training & Development Programs Restaurant & Catering Discount #J-18808-Ljbffr Buona Restaurant & Catering
